Attachment: Vietnam Coal 03302020
Vietnam's state mining company VINACOMIN (Vietnam National Coal and Mineral Industries Group) and other coal miners are expected to push their project kickoff dates to the end of 2020. A seven-month construction kickoff gap in the coal mining sector is expected to develop due to logistic and manpower difficulties caused by the country's government-imposed COVID-19 lockdown in the coming weeks. Project starts are expected to bounce back in mid-November and expected to peak by March to April 2021.
