Tanzania Aims for More Hydropower
NEW DELHI--January 13, 2023--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Tanzania Electric Supply Company Limited (Dodoma, Tanzania) plans to tap its hydro energy resources by installing nearly 6 gigawatts (GW) of hydropower projects in the country by 2030.
Tanzania has been trying to increase its hydroelectricity production in recent years, in particular by the construction of the Julius Nyerere Dam in the Selous Reserve.
